We are learning to know that pictures can help me read the story

We are learning to recognise numbers between 1 to 20.
We are learning to order numbers between 1 to 20.

"I can count up to 20 but some numbers were hard to put in order" said Haval.

Greedy Cats

Last week we were reading the big book "Greedy Cat".  To follow on from this we decided to create our own cat faces for art.  Students had to look carefully at size and position as they sketched their cat faces onto paper.  Look at the great results!

My Writing

Haval, Wow! Your basic word recall has grown and with support you are beginning to use your alphabet sounds to spell longer words. You use finger spaces, capital letters and full stops in your writing and you have good ideas for your stories. Great work!
